Assumption എന്ന പദത്തിലൂടെ മറിയം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് എടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു എന്നും, Dormition എന്നതിലൂടെ അവൾ നിദ്ര പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്നും പഠിപ്പിക്കുവാനായി ഇരു വിഭാഗങ്ങളും ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ സുറിയാനിയിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന "ശൂനോയോ" എന്ന പദത്തിന് തത്തുല്യമാണ് ഇവ രണ്ടും എന്ന് പറയാൻ സാധിക്കുകയില്ല. ഇതിന് സഭകളുടെ വ്യത്യസ്ത പഠിപ്പിക്കല...
